This manner does not allow the reader to get a n complete feel of how modernism encircled society. Instead one leaves with an understanding of how individualist changes affected certain aspects of societies.Secondly, Eksteins argument is convincing because it gives various examples of how societies differed from Germany. One is equal to comprehend why Eksteins believes Germany is the epitome of modernism, as opposed to other societies. This method is also valuable because it allows the reader to make his/her own decision of German modernism. After reading Rites of Spring, one agrees with Eksteins beliefs because of the outstanding methods he utilizes to deliver his argument.
